The moult
Is it just me or is the moult really hard on cocks this year,I've a few birds in a really hard moult 2010 was the last time I seen it as bad maybe its just me now.

I have a cock in a really bad state and he has even taken to sitting on the floor. Previous I thought that the cocks fared much better than the hens during moult. Generally tho they all seem to be in the throes of it at the moment.

Cocks get it worse because the feathers are longer and it takes more out of them plus the older the cocks the harder it is on them.
