Avian Flu monitoring in bird drinkers
Hi everyone, I was hoping to get peoples' opinions on the ability to monitor or detect the presence of avian influenza in poultry drinkers. I'm part of a group of researchers at the University of Edinburgh who have developed a sensor technology which could be incorporated into the bird drinking equipment alerting to the presence of avian flu in the water.
At this stage we would just like to better understand if this concept is something that would make a difference in preventing the spread of flu and your opinions would be gratefully appreciated. If anyone is interested to learn more or happy to just give a thumbs up or down - any thoughts would be very helpful, please reply or DM me directly.
Thanks for listening.

Therefor they will drink from puddles, rivers and animal drinkers.
