Bit Of Tin Blew Off

Little sheet I've just started putting on top of my Long Chickens pen, again, now. Keep the rain off. Must fix it down.

Blew off, last night. Found it, leaning against the fence of the main pen. Mm. Nudged it away with the toe of my boot. Ye know the rest ... Didn't nudge that far corner quite enough, did I? Still touching the fence, when I grabbed this end!

*THAT* woke me up! :D

I went flying walking up the field and wound up with the back of my head against the fence for one pulse.

No real pain, just a blip of "oblivion" before rapidly moving out of contact.

I did knock up a poultry stunner based on the "experience" as there was no real pain or discomfort, most unlike the unpleasant jolt when an arm or leg makes contact.

The stress and difficulty of getting the condemned into place made it a none starter :-(

Weird that, Kwackers. I'm given to believe the brain is totally incapable of feeling pain. (I'll leave it there. Rabbit hole at ye own discretion) Yet, any skin and musculature surrounding that brain sure as dig feels it! LOL!

*I* know this, because I was so engrossed in tracking a badger, into a ditch, I never noticed the wire! *That* woke me up too! Like a tap from a lump hammer! :D

Dispatch? Have ye not considered one of those natty little stunners, they have on here? ( https://www.maceoinltd.com/poultry-equipment/poultry-process... )
