Does anyone know where I can take some khaki campbells and a few euro and have them returned without life or feathers?
I have four and a drake, I never did get any significant egg count from them this year and cute as they are, feed is costing me.

Friday, October 14th, 2022 I am not sure where you could take them. But do you not want to do away with them your self?

Saturday, October 15th, 2022 Definitely not!
I am a snivelling coward that would prefer others to do the "dirty" work.
The ducks are really more pets than a farming asset, but as they don't lay and the costs of keeping them are increasing there are limits.

Thursday, October 20th, 2022 Thanks, I would agree that were I to raise ducks for the purpose of putting myself outside them, Campbells would not be the first choice.
They are reputed to be a variety that was bred for food and eggs though and the excess drakes that were killed would equal what I bought off the supermarket shelves on the few occasions that I did go for dead livestock.
After sinking quite a bit of time and cash into the things, I would like to salvage whatever I can from the situation and I would be inclined to use them if at all possible.
I am sure they would be happier knowing that they were valued after their departure :-)
As someone who has made a meal of wrasse on a number of occasions in the past, I can assure you that a meal taking advantage of what would otherwise be wasted adds a value that a skilled chef would find hard to beat.
