Monday, February 8th, 2021 Some say that the tannin in the potato skins isn't good for the hens and over long periods it builds up. Are there shoots or green areas on the skins? I know it has always been done but it might be worth stopping it for a while and see if it helps. Whole wheat is better for hens than barley.

Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 I suggest just giving the layers' pellets.
Barley or wheat they love but it has no nutrients or calcium.
Try stopping the treats and scraps and they should get back to normal.

Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 Barley goes through without giving any benefit but wheat does. If fed in the evening it is digested slowly and keeps them warm for the night.

Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 Back to you Shannon mist. How are your hens eating now?
