Is The 'Brinsea Mini Eco 10' A Good Investment?

Brinsea is a good brand so I've heard.

Have any of you had experience with this model?
Are there better small ones?

Thanks!

That's the one I started with and I can say that its very reliable and easy to use for small batches. If you dont mind manually turning your eggs I would recommend it. One thing though, its supposedly for 10 hen eggs but I found that 10 very large eggs didn't fit. Good incubator but for large eggs like duck or Buff Orps, 8 fit comfortably.

I think they also sell it in a advance model . That one is automatic so would turn the eggs for you

Yes, but it is nearly twice the price though better.

If you need any advice on the brinsea mini eco incubator i would be happy to discuss this with you.
They will hold 10 average chicken eggs and are manual turning though a semi automatic turning kit is available but reduces capacity to 7 chicken eggs.
You get a 3 year warranty on all brinsea incubators and we look after all Brinsea Incubator warranties in Ireland & Northern Ireland.

Hi FlockMaster, yes I have indeed looked at it and it seems a good model, I was just asking if anyone has experience with it and whether it is a good value for the money. thank you for the info.

We have the little mini advance (7 egg) and it works great. Only problem is the size. 1 or 2 infertile eggs and 2 or 3 cockerels you may very well end up with just a couple of pullets. We have now got the maxi advance (14) egg. It is very good, same controls except the water is filled at the outside. I'd say a better investment.

Hey guys is it worth getting the extra Flock master mentioned that makes Egg-turning Semi-automatic?
