Uv light kills germs and viruses.
So I'm wondering if this type of light can be harmful to poultry as i just ordered two flood lamps.

You must have be listening to the Donald in the states for the uv light theory.

Can't beat a good clean out and disinfect with Vircon to keep virus and germs at bay.

No I saw last week on 6 o clock news where there's new robots build that dispense UVC light, which will be used in hospitals in Ireland.
Got to run with the times you know.
A good wash down and disinfectant is very important agreed.

Hii have no experience with uv light but in my opinion unless it's in a lab type environment it may not be as useful as you think. Bird flu at the moment is being spread by wild migrating birds infecting through droppings in feed, on the ground and direct contact. Like I mean it's probably no harm if you do it well but unlikely to stop spread of viruses in reality. If you are very worried about pathogens coming in be mindful of bringing it in yourself on your boots, clothes and perhaps a covered run to prevent wild birds from entering.
