Hi, if itís any help I travel from Abbeyfeale to Strabane on a regular basis. Usually about once a fortnight. I would be willing to courier them for free. How have you found the breed, does it live up to its utility merits as a layer and a meat bird. Whatís there temperament like?

I haven't had the breed before but they are very similar i believe to other large breed birds that were bred for the table , that I have kept, the la bresse and scots dumpy, I believe that they taste absolutely great and are one of the large breeds so plenty of meat and what I have found with these breeds their temprement is great , get on with all the other breeds of birds . When are you next travelling up this way . Cheers

A fortnights time, roughly the sixth or seventh of December. If this is any use to you I will bring the birds the length of Lifford/ Strabane. Sound like a nice breed to keep. Sure let me know.
