geese are soooooooo mean

i bought two young khaki cambell ducks and a lady a few miles from me was giving away indian runner drakes so i got one to put with the khakis. i left them in a small run to get used to each other and the other birds get used to them and the geese were just sitting outside the run but 3 days later when i left them out the geese just attacked them and kept chasing them, but the stupid drake is a glutton for punishment and keeps going back to the geese and they keep attacking him.... thoughts, recommendations?

Sounds like Frank Kelly's version of the 12 days of Christmas. Have they settled down?

Keep them separated. Geese can randomly attack ducks that are weak who they did not grow up with.

it looks like the drakes persistance has won them over, they hang out together, they sleep together and all is good now, the geese eat first, then the ducks so the geese are the boss but they all seem happy with that now and every one gets on.
