Black fleas on hatching hens

Hi.
Can anyone help me. I have black fleas on my hatching hens. How do I get rid of them.

Are they red mite.they look black. If they are treat the hen or they could kill her while she’s sitting and she’ll be constantly uncomfortable and itchy.id dump the eggs and bedding etc if it was me and treat the hen

Put ant powder in nest or onion leaves cigarette butts are deadly too.😉

chickens like to have dust baths. It takes care of all the external mites and parasites . provide this facility for them and when they get off to feed or when you take them of to feed they make use of it before they go back on the eggs.

dry fine sandbox or very fine dry earth irresistible to clocking hens.Nice and dusty just the way they like it!!
