Copper Maran not laying

Hi all, Iím wondering if you have some advise for me. I got a copper maran lady about 4 months ago together with two crossbreeds. Ive been told the lady is about 1,5 years old and should be back laying soon after a deserved break. Now, she did not lay a single egg and I wonder if there is something wrong. Generally she looks great, red comb, shiny plumage, eating well (I wouldnít say sheís too big but definitely eating well) checked for parasites but no sign of it at all. She was and is the last one in pecking order but enjoys being bossy around the little ones hatched in February. I just notice her being in the barn all by herself whilst the others enjoy the sun. Any advise what might be wrong with her? Possibly even older than advised? As per sellerís info about the laying break she would be out of laying for 5 months now.

Best regards

Hi Fionn. Iím feeding organic layer pellets. Since end of March I have integrated the two months olds and have organic grower available at all times plus the organic layers during the day in a separate feeder to which only the big ones have access. There is some oyster shell available too but haven't ever seen any hen touching it. The other ladies just lay and are very busy with it

Hi. I have currently a flock of 24 of which 7 are laying. Sheís the only copper maran so considering the egg colour and spending a lot of time with them, I am quite sure that she doesnít lay. The other two crossbreeds that came with her from the same home are laying fine. I just keep watching her and really start wondering if she may be too good with eating but doesnít do any exercise. They are all free ranging but she keeps going back inside and just sitting on her favourite place.
