I have a young terrier here, but done very little with him so far. I'd love to try him at a bit of ratting, but don't know anywhere round here with decent rat numbers.

Are you going to run him in cover nedzer I just got a new permission with heaps of rabbits a unused Fox earth and 2 large covers on about 6acres gonna try it out on the weekend with the dogs and ferrets and maybe a spot of Lamping over this week but am only 15 so trying to keep on top of my 700 acres of my permission but this place should be a very good place for myself without any of my friends coming out with me nedzer

I intend to use him on earth work mainly lad, but I'll have to see how he goes. Don't have much spare time these days. I have a special needs child to look after, so he takes up most of my time. Where abouts in the country are you? I in Offaly. We have very little rabbits here the last number of years because of RHV

It's a dodgy occupation to be at these days there was a fella jailed for lamping rabbits last week and his dogs seized and there's another case before the courts for a man ferreting they confiscated his nets.

Yes it's getting rediculous. What's it gonna be like in ten years time. Main thing is to make sure you have permission to hunt the land lads, and you'll be fine.
