Sickly pullets

Today I bought three point of lay pullets from a trusted supplier and I noticed that one of them is closing one of its eyes alot. I put baytril directly on the eye. They cough occasionally also. They were pecking eachother in the box and were in a hot car for a while could this be the cause? Otherwise they are quite healthy and are eating grass and are grooming themselves. Thanks for any advice.

I gave them all 1ml of baytril each orally. One of them also sneezed fluid. They were in a hot car for an hour and got dehydrated would this be the cause?? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

My guess is they already were infected when you purchased them.Sometimes when your buying from a reputable supplier your less likely to check in great detail the quality of the birds.I've seen very badly dehydrated birds come from the boot of a guys car one time and after a day of water and air they lived fine lives and showed none of those symptoms .Best of luck

I wonder is it the same rule for a dairy animal you are consuming milk from.
