I'm looking for some advice on getting an incubator for hatching hens.
What do people think of the Brinsea range And are they worth the money?
Am I better off staying clear of them and using hens?

The price had put me off getting one for a few years now, I hatch mostly Belgian bantams and had poor results so far in some of the smaller Brinsea and other make incubators.
Earlier this year I got a Brinsea 190 and am able to set eggs weekly and hatch weekly with great success.
I have improved my hatch rates from 30-40% to over 85% and haven't set my sitters at all and probably won't use them this year at all. Having weekly 40+ chicks suits me perfectly.
I only use the 190 for incubating and let them hatch in the Brinsea Ovation, easier to clean.

I use the brinsea 190 all this season cannot fault it over 400 hatched so far this year , I use it for incubating then move them to a polyhatch for hatching, they are slightly expensive but well well worth the money I can't fault mine
