Caring for quail

Hi all, I am just wondering how to look after quail as I reall want to get them.
I would more than likely be hatching them??

Not too different from hens really. Need a safe, dry enclosure as they can cope with cold but don't like it wet. Feed chicks on chick crumb / turkey starter. You will need some pebbles in their water dish to stop them getting in and drown. Mealworm can be added after a week or so. Adult quail will take layers pellets and or bird seeds, millet as well as some greens. Hope this will help

You need to feed high protein 22-23% feed otherwise they might start feather picking. Game bird starter or turkey crumb works.
