Irish gamefowl

Hi could anyone breeding genuine Irish gamefowl please get in touch if they havenít already done so

I'm not trying to mess about or be clever but how do you no if their genuine Irish game as far an as long as I can remember they have always been a type as apposed to breed they are purpose bred not pedigree bred.I'd just be interested to no what your standard are for the "breed"

Good question paddy there is subtle differences Irish are larger heavier boned but not exaggerated with longer beak with curved top a bit like a raptor and they are calmish....o and very game

Oh I no what they look like and I keep them but I still don't class them as a breed but a type.

The plan Paddy is to identify this type as different an get them officially recognized as Irelandís only indigenous fowl Breed we plan to test them genetically(dna sample) and cross match them to other types Iím no expert but the geneticists tell me if their are physical differences then their will be genetic differences if you have some Iíd love to test them at no cost yourself whatsoever hereís my number Iíd like a chat.
