Hen laying from perch!

I have a young hen laying but she lays anywhere except in the nest boxes, usually while perched on her roost. Sheís the only one laying at the moment. Tried putting eggs in nest boxes but she just doesnít go near them. Tried taking out perches for a few days but she just sat on top of nest boxes. Am I just going to have to wait until one of the other hens starts laying & shows her what to do?? They are all new hens as I got cleaned out by the fox a few months ago. Any suggestions much appreciated!

I had pullets and they did the same but eventually started to lay in the box , make sure you have plenty of saw dust on the floor and perch really low so as not to break the egg ( if they break and she starts eating it you could have a real problem)
I also seen this happening when I had a light with them in winter time - when I quit it they were confused for a while
