Hatched april 2017

have 3 cross bred hens hatched out last easter havent started to lay yet is that normal and if so when should they start laying?

Red combs would mean a sign of fitness and health.

red combs means ready to lay,
very pale comb can mean a parasite burden, either worms, lice, or red mite in the house.
