The General Poultry Chat Forum

Discuss all aspects of raising poultry. No topic is too small

RIP - Ireland's greatest poultry enthusiast.

For many of us on here, we know each other through our united love of poultry and waterfowl.
Pat Mitchell from loughrea Co. galway will be known to many for his incredible Toulouse geese and Indian runner ducks, plus his love of Orpington fowl and Crotzweller turkeys.
Pat died last night at his home.
Just as he would have wished.
To all of you who knew him can you spread the word amongst those who may not use the internet.
Details of funeral will be available on RIP.IE over weekend.
Dates of reposal not confirmed as of tonight.
A great friend for so many years. Dedicated to his poultry and fancy breeds and the club associations while younger.
Will be deeply missed.
He was the rarest breed of them all.
Best in show.
May he rest in peace.
