Sunday, October 22nd, 2017 Nice birds for clocking quickly and good mothers. Down side is they are small, i have a jersey giant hen that is still sitting on oepf growers hatched out in June. Brahma sit solid as a rock on a lot of eggs and not a heavy bird but stop mothering like clock work once the chicks are feathered, bit early in a mixed flock where you need a body guard. Point is, in my experience they are a sweet hen but not the gold standard in hatching i used to think they were. Rj
