Cream Legbar development and aging

My two cream legbars have started to develop their dramatic white/blue ear lobes and I'm curious if that can be used to get a better idea of their age. Up until now I haven't noticed their ear lobes being so predominant so I'm assuming they're just developing. They've also started to fill out and are looking less juvenile. Any ideas? :)

That's what I'm not sure of. I was told they were about six weeks from laying two weeks ago, but I was also mislead in a number of ways by the same person so I'm just curious to discover their real age.
