Tying cockerels

Does anyone have any experience keeping cockerels in the barrel set up while being tied by the leg?

Is there a problem?

Only for the bird tied by its leg i would imagine!!!

This system would normally be associated with fighting/game birds as far as i know.
Never heard of anyone keeping regular poultry in this way but i,m open to correction on that.

Ok so explain to me how the housing of a bird is automatically associated with so called "fighting birds"?

I said the use of the barrel house whilst the birds are tied by the leg is associated with fighting/game birds.

Nothing to do with the housing, more so the use of ties so cocks can be kept in close proximity without the use of pens to prevent them fighting.
Any website to do with fighting bird will show this system in use more often than not.

Don't mean to put a spanner in the works but wont it make it nice and convenient for the old fox once he discovers fast food tied by the leg crowing its head off.

I agree with pearl.
Make proper runs.
If you can't make proper runs then don't keep any roosters.
