The females will have better feather cover, males at that stage very penny.

Yeah usually females start to feather up at about 3 weeks while males don't usually feather up until 4 weeks in my experience. The males at 7 weeks should have a bigger comb and slightly bigger legs with a worse feather coverage than the females.
