Aylesbury Ducks - rare breed versus everyday farmyard white duck

All over i see ducks been advertised as aylesbury when they are just a commercial white duck, when i looked more into this it seems to have become acceptable to refer to all common farmyard heavy white ducks as aylesbury and not as the very rare breed that the name originates from.

Im not sure if i have a question here or just wondering what other peoples opinions are on the subject and does anyone have any pure bred Aylesbury ducks???

Eamonn Mullarkey and guy Richardson keep proper Alsybury, they are very hard to breed as they are so heavy so the common white duck is a cross of chiltren, German Peking and Alsybury to make a dual purpose bird ducks lay well and drakes easy fatten..
