Nice one,
I have 9 plants now and I am planting more seeds,
This year I am not putting my strawberries into a bed in my polytunnel,
As they just take over the place.
Instead I will put them into pots.
It's better to save the beds in the polytunnel for vegetables,
I suppose this year you will be getting a bumper crop this year!
Goodluck,
Fionn.

Hi Fionn have you ever seen the hanging pots they use in the polytunnels for strawberries, might be an idea for you. As they are hanging down from the frame they don't take up space and the ground can still be planted under them. Only thing is the extra work of watering them if you don't have an irrigation set up.

I use hanging baskets most of the time for strawberries ane use large water pipes and bore holes down the sides of them and insert the plants and cover with mesh to stop the birds eating them

But my plastic is right againsed the middle bar,
So nowhere to hang them.
