Thursday, March 26th, 2015 That's very early. What neck of the woods ?
Last year they were very early (around the 9th of April because they had a wind from the Sahara behind them) but the last week in March is hard to believe.
BUT, I did hear they were seen of England last week.
Old Warwick
Thursday, March 26th, 2015 That is early i have never had them here in March.
Earliest we had was 2002 when they arrived 3rd April.
The Swallows arrived on 9th April Last year.
This was earlier than 2013 as they arrived 26th April & in 2012 they arrived 12th April.
Always interesting to hear when they arrive though in different parts of the country.

K's Chicks.
Saturday, April 11th, 2015 It's like a mix between a bee eater and a kingfisher. Orange body, barred black and white wings, a prominent orange crest that is erect every so often, long black beak and a small delicate bird, the size of a collared dove.
